Using digital software (Adobe Photoshop), I am editing all the images.
When editing images, there are a few different tools you can apply to enhance the image. These include:
Exposure/Brightness
Contrast
Tones (Highlight)
Tones (Shadow)
Saturation
Ambiance
White Balance (Temperature: warm or cold)
White Balance (Tints)
Skin Tones
Sharpening
Clarity
Grain Effect
Vignette
Fade
Split Colour Tones
Perspective
Cropping
These features tend to change the whole image but when editing, there are always small sections of the work that you want to fix. That is where selective brushes come in handy to edit small portions of the work. These brushes can also include:
Details
Blur
Dodge and Burn
Exposure/Brightness
Temperature
Saturation
Structure
Contrast
Again, using the same image in the previous blog posts, take a look at the transformation of the image from the very first steps. The last image is the edited image.
